My Story, Part 1: The Leap When I was 25, I gave up a lucrative career as a Management Consultant to do NOTHING except wonder what the f*ck I was going to do with my life. Yeah it sounds stupid, but sometimes you have to leap without looking to land where you're supposed to be. 

I just knew it wasn't going to be trapped behind a desk, with a fixed salary, playing office politics all day. I also didn't want to be told what to do, where to be, what time I had to be there and how long I had to stay. I'm sure that there are millions of people who feel the same way (maybe you're one of them). For most of human history - thousands of years - that's not how people lived, so it's not in our DNA to enjoy living that way now.

It was hard giving up the salary, bonuses, air miles, corporate perks and the great people I had met. But it was easier than betraying who I really was and how I thought life should be lived. Golden handcuffs can become rusty shackles if they're worn long enough. 

I had to slowly work towards that defining moment though. There are so many things to pay for in life: accomodation, food, drink, travel, parties, clothes, and so on. Like most people, I couldn't just give it all up immediately. But unlike most people, I was willing to make short term sacrifices for long term happiness. I saved money instead of buying dumb sh*t. I said no to going on holidays. I lived at my parents' home instead of paying London's crazy rent prices like all of my friends were (shoutout to my amazing parents for supporting me). 

I believed short term sacrifices for long term happiness was a better strategy than short term comfort for long term unhappiness. Unfortunately, most people choose the second strategy because it's easier and safer to settle for what they have than it is to reach beyond their comfort zone for what they really want. But if you Google 'biggest regrets of dying people', it's no suprise that settling for less than what they really wanted is always one of them. Trying and failing is admirable and understandable, but not trying at all is a tragedy. I couldn't let that be me, and I hope you won't let that be you. 

My Story, Part 2: F*ck It After quitting, I sat in my bedroom, searched for and discovered several opportunities to earn a living online. I gravitated towards online businesses because they were interesting and offered the least work, most money and total flexibility - the perfect combination for gaining the ability to do whatever you want.

I started trying some of them out, but there was a problem. Nothing was working for me because I had no idea what I was doing - why would I? School teaches you to memorize useless facts rather than understand how the world works, and a job teaches you to listen to your boss rather than thinking freely. I was playing a new game with different rules now, and as with any game, I assumed it was normal to suck at first but improve as time goes on.  

Fast forward a few months of no real progress, it got to the point where I was almost ready to accept failure. The latest business I had started was a social media and eCommerce business, which was making a few sales each day but nowhere near enough to be sustainable.  

I finally cracked under the pressure and decided to apply for a job, again, as a Management Consultant. Surprisingly, the firm I accepted an offer from gave me a much higher salary than what I was earning at my previous firm. But it didn't matter, because I knew it was a short term comfort on a path to long term unhappiness.  

The first day at my new job was also my last day. In fact, I resigned before lunch. Yeah, you read that right. When I told the partner who hired me that I was quitting, it was one of the most awkward moments of my life...top three for sure. But that's a funny story for another day.  

You may be wondering why I quit so quickly, or why I quit at all when I hadn't achieved much on my own in several months. It's because when I woke up that morning and checked my phone, my business had made more sales than ever before. It still wasn't a lot, but it was the best results so far. I didn't really think about it at the time, so I just put my phone on silent and started preparing for my first day. But as I was in the shower, getting ready, boarding the train and walking to the office, I felt miserable. 

When I got to the office, I put on my best fake smile, shook hands with everybody in suits, attended meetings and started working on something I didn't care about at all. But throughout all of this, I kept feeling my phone vibrating in my jacket pocket. Every time I checked it, it wasn't a message, an email or a push notification from one of my apps. It was another sale.

You only get a handful of life-defining moments in your life, and this was one of mine. I remember getting a feeling that I had never felt before, and I'll never forget it. Everything around me seemed to disappear into silence. My heart started pounding, my hands were sweating and my mind was rapidly moving through different scenarios as a wave of intense thoughts. I felt as though my future self was watching me, waiting for me to decide which path I was going to take. Finally, I snapped out of it, took a deep breath and whispered two of the most beautifully deep and philosophical words to myself: "f*ck it". I resigned. The real me was back, and I worked harder than ever to make sure I never had to do that again.

After starting that year with several months of stress, failure and uncertainty, it finished with my business making multiple 6-figures in sales, me purchasing a brand new apartment in London and most importantly, just feeling free. Life can transform very quickly if you make the right sacrifices, and follow your instincts when it matters most.

My Story, Part 3: Solving the Puzzle Fast forward another few months, and things were going very well. My business was diversifying, customers were pouring in and sales were skyrocketing globally.

But there was another problem emerging. I was grateful for the money, but I still felt that I wasn't as happy, fulfilled and inspired as I could be. When you don't have enough money, it's easy to think that having more will solve all of your problems. But once you have it, you realize it's only part of the puzzle. There's a reason why so many celebrities with unimaginable levels of wealth, power and fame get depressed, and why poor homeless children playing on the streets often have the biggest smiles on their faces. Money isn't everything. 

For me, the issue was that I was just selling to the world rather than providing value to the people in it. There's a difference between shallow money and fulfilling money, even if they have the same value. If you had the choice between making a million dollars by cutting down trees in the rainforest, or making a million dollars by curing a deadly disease, most of us would be much happier with the second option, even though both choices offered the same million dollars.

I reframed my view and focused on how I could share my skills, knowledge and experiences with those who needed it. I saw that there were millions of people who wanted to live more freely, like me, instead of being trapped by doing something they didn't enjoy. There's a chilling quote by the philosopher Henry Thoreau, "the mass of men [and women] lead lives of quiet desperation." I was one of those people until I pushed my way out. Then I realized that if I could push my way out, I could help others do the same.

So in the summer of 2018, I began creating courses to help people thrive on their own journeys to fortune, freedom and fulfilment. The courses quickly gained attention, and now have over 1,000 five star reviews from over 10,000 students in over 140 countries. I had finally found what I was looking for within myself, and what I could share with the world. My short term sacrifices had finally transformed into long term happiness.

In addition, for courses, you must not have watched more than 10 percent or 1.5 hours of the course (whichever is a shorter duration) in order to be eligible for a refund. If either of both of these terms are not met, we reserve the right to deny your refund request.  

The intent of this policy is to give people the chance to try our products, and if it doesn’t work for them, they can get their money back. It isn’t designed to enable people to steal the products by accessing, using, copying or transferring them, and then requesting a refund.
